AskPAi Early Access

Safety notice

Effective 6 August 2026

AskPAi is currently an early-stage experimental AI assistant.

AskPAi has been designed with security controls intended to reduce the risks associated with autonomous AI agents, including restricted connector permissions, separation of credentials from the AI model where supported, credential injection, infrastructure hardening, logging and policy controls.

However, AskPAi is an early version of a new type of autonomous software. We cannot guarantee that the AI will always behave correctly or that every security attack, prompt injection, unintended action or data disclosure will be prevented.

Please use the Early Access version accordingly.

Please do not give AskPAi highly sensitive information unless strictly necessary

We strongly recommend that you do not provide AskPAi with:

  • payment-card numbers through ordinary chat;
  • bank-account credentials;
  • cryptocurrency seed phrases or private keys;
  • authentication recovery codes;
  • government identification documents;
  • medical information you consider highly sensitive;
  • highly confidential personal or business information;
  • passwords or API keys through ordinary chat.

Where AskPAi provides a dedicated Secrets mechanism, use that mechanism instead of sending credentials in a normal conversation.

Secrets submitted through supported credential-management functionality are handled separately from ordinary conversational content and, where technically supported, are not exposed directly to the AI model.

Do not assume the same protection applies if you paste a secret directly into a Telegram, WhatsApp, email or other conversation with AskPAi.

Use limited accounts whenever possible

During the Early Access period, we strongly recommend connecting accounts with the minimum permissions and authority necessary.

Where possible:

  • use test, secondary or dedicated accounts rather than mission-critical accounts;
  • avoid connecting accounts containing exceptionally sensitive information;
  • keep multi-factor authentication and other independent security controls enabled;
  • use provider-side approval mechanisms where available;
  • restrict permissions and spending independently from AskPAi;
  • use accounts that require independent authorization for sensitive or high-value actions.

Important warning about purchases and payments

AskPAi may be able to cause a real purchase without seeing your underlying credit-card number.

For example, if AskPAi can interact with an Amazon or other merchant account that already contains a valid payment method, that merchant may allow purchases using the stored payment method.

The current Early Access version of AskPAi does not provide a universal spending-limit system or guaranteed transaction-by-transaction confirmation for every external service.

The AI may misunderstand:

  • which item to buy;
  • how many items to buy;
  • the maximum amount you intended to spend;
  • whether an instruction was still valid;
  • information displayed by a website or provided by a third party.

For the Early Access demo, we strongly recommend not connecting unrestricted payment-enabled accounts.

If you choose to test purchasing functionality, consider using:

  • a dedicated virtual or prepaid card with only the amount required for the intended operation;
  • a dedicated card or account with a low independent spending limit;
  • merchant or banking controls requiring additional authorization;
  • transaction approval or authentication provided independently by your bank, card issuer, merchant or payment provider;
  • an account that cannot incur material financial losses if an action is performed incorrectly.

These precautions can reduce risk but do not eliminate it.

Never give AskPAi access to financial authority that you are not prepared for the AI to exercise incorrectly.

Email and connected accounts

Personal Gmail connectors and other connectors marked Read Only are configured so that AskPAi can read authorized information but cannot modify or delete information through that connector.

AskPAi may use information obtained from those connectors when responding to you, maintaining context or performing tasks you request.

AskPAi also has a separate AI-assistant email address ending in @askpai.com.

The AI may send emails from its AskPAi email address when email-sending functionality is enabled.

AI-generated messages can contain mistakes, incorrect information or unintended disclosures.

Prompt injection and malicious content

Emails, webpages, documents, messages, repositories, API responses and other external content can contain instructions specifically designed to manipulate AI systems.

AskPAi implements technical and policy controls intended to detect, restrict or mitigate these attacks.

No current AI-agent security system can guarantee that every prompt-injection, adversarial or other security attack will be prevented.

You should therefore assume that information accessible to an autonomous AI assistant carries some residual risk of unintended processing, action or disclosure.

Your AI can make mistakes

AskPAi may:

  • misunderstand your instructions;
  • make incorrect assumptions;
  • provide inaccurate information;
  • act on malicious or misleading third-party content;
  • send an incorrect communication;
  • perform an unintended permitted action;
  • fail to perform an action;
  • repeat an action.

Do not use this Early Access version as the sole control for safety-critical, legally binding, financial, medical or other high-impact activities.

Early Access acknowledgement

Before continuing, please confirm:

  • I understand that AskPAi is an experimental Early Access AI service and can make mistakes or take unintended actions.
  • I understand that autonomous AI systems can be exposed to prompt injection, malicious third-party content and other security attacks, and that AskPAi cannot guarantee that all such attacks will be prevented.
  • I understand that I should not provide highly sensitive information unless necessary and should use AskPAi's designated Secrets functionality for supported credentials rather than ordinary chat.
  • I understand that connecting a payment-enabled account may allow AskPAi to cause real purchases, even if AskPAi cannot see my underlying card number.
  • I understand that the current Early Access version does not provide a universal spending limit or guaranteed approval for every transaction.
  • I am at least 18 years old.
